Course Overview

Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) proves your capability to deploy, control and manage IT infrastructure in a manner that complies with existing cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive corporate information. It is an internationally recognized certification program that provides proof of your advanced technical knowledge to practice security methodologies operationally. In case of administration of network security, IT operations management, and critical infrastructure administration, the SSCP comes handy.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of cumulative work experience in 1 or more of the domains of the SSCP Exam Outline. A one-year prerequisite pathway is available for candidates who receive an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity program. A candidate who doesn’t have the required experience may become an Associate of ISC2 by successfully passing the SSCP examination and working to earn the required work experience.
